As part of the German Jordanian University (GJU) institutional commitment to Open Education, on March 26, 2019, the newly established e-Learning Committee at GJU organized a workshop on e-learning and open education with faculty members and participants from different Jordanian and EU institutions and organisations. GJU is subtantially stimulating the use of e-learning and open education tools within the university, and is also taking and active role towards raising awareness on the adoption of OER in Jordan, and building community among different universities engaged with OER.
